Don’t Let Missed Calls Lead to Missed Profits 

Maintaining 85%+ answer rate is not just a service metric, it’s a profitability driver. Dropping below 85% can mean a loss in revenue annually. 

Every missed call is a missed opportunity to convert a lead into a loyal guest. Consistent phone responsiveness is critical for guest satisfaction and business growth, especially during high-volume periods like holidays.  

ACTION ITEMS

Train Spa Associates (SAs) to always answer the phone, even if they need to place the caller on hold. 

Avoid relying solely on voicemail or Bots for first contact with a guest. 

If hold time may exceed 30–45 seconds, instruct SAs to:  

-Offer a callback. 

-Collect the caller’s name, number, and reason for calling. 

Use Invoca call tracking: Invoca Action Guide & Access Request Form 

-Analyze call volume trends. 

-Identify peak call times and days with missed calls. 

-Review recorded calls to assess lead handling quality. 

-SA Call Review Worksheet 

Support In-Person Service Without Sacrificing Call Responsiveness, if all staff are occupied, use a quick info capture sheet to:  

-Log caller details. 

-Ensure callbacks within 5–10 minutes. 

Reinforce the importance of follow-up as part of the guest experience.

Please join us in welcoming new franchisees Darrell and Deloris [Last Name], who will be developing a Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Kyle, Texas.

Darrell joins the brand following a remarkable 35-year career in public service with the Internal Revenue Service, where he advanced through numerous leadership roles and ultimately served as Deputy Chief Information Officer. He holds degrees in Accounting and Information Systems and brings a wealth of experience in management, operations, and organizational leadership.

Deloris currently serves as Associate Director of Investment Accounting for the University of Texas System, where she has been a valued team member for 14 years. A proud Austin native and Texas State University alumna, Deloris holds a degree in Finance and is deeply rooted in her community.

Together, Darrell and Deloris are eager to embark on a new journey in the health and wellness industry, inspired by Hand & Stone’s mission to improve the day-to-day lives of others. They look forward to building a thriving business that not only serves their local community but also creates a legacy for their two children.
