The newest Hand & Stone spa has officially opened in Sunrise-Sawgrass, Florida - and it’s making an immediate impact. With 275 founding members at launch, this location sets a new benchmark for early engagement.
The spa is owned and operated by experienced franchisees James Egan, Sunitee Singh, and Dr. J. Paul Singh. Together, they bring decades of leadership in wellness, healthcare, and business to the Hand & Stone brand, furthering our mission to make exceptional relaxation and wellness more accessible in South Florida.
About the Owners
James Egan brings nearly 30 years of senior executive experience in the grocery industry and currently operates multiple Hand & Stone locations across Florida, including Davie, Pembroke Pines, Coral Springs, and Fort Myers. His expansion plans include new spas in Fort Lauderdale and Venice Beach.
“Massage helped me manage stress, ease pain, and sleep better during a high-pressure career,” said Egan. “Joining Hand & Stone allowed me to help others feel their best—mentally and physically—through the power of consistent care.”
Sunitee and Dr. J. Paul Singh are husband-and-wife entrepreneurs with deep roots in healthcare and their local community. Dr. Singh is a board-certified internal medicine physician with more than 30 years in private practice. Since opening their first spa in Weston in 2018, the Singhs have expanded to Coral Springs, Hollywood, and now Sunrise-Sawgrass.
“Our goal is to help guests make wellness a regular part of life,” said Sunitee Singh. “It’s meaningful to bring this level of care to a community we know and love.”
